The StowGoalClub was originally formed by caring community members, parents, and alumni to help assist the soccer programs at Stow-Munroe Falls High School located in Stow, Ohio.
The club has expanded to not only include those in the high school soccer community, but also the parents, coaches and athletes who participate in the girls' lacrosse program. We all share the same goal of improving our soccer/lacrosse facilities at the high school.
The ultimate goal of the StowGoalClub is to raise enough money to put lights and stands on the bus garage field.
Presently the high school soccer/lacrosse teams are funded by the high school athletic budget, with aid of the Stow Booster Club. The two sources of income have been great to the boys and girls programs.
The StowGoalClub has worked diligently to help improve the playing facilities at the high school. With help from the Booster Club and private donations, we have accomplished the following
- New LED scoreboard
- New 24 ft aluminum benches
- New goals on both game fields
- Improved field dimensions, making the field width 70 yards
- 25 ft net backstop
- 8 ft industrial black vinyl-coated chain link fence
- A new steel gate entrance complete with brick pillars, paver walkway, and landscaping
- 240 ft x 30 ft stone pad for bleachers with drainage
- American Flag mounted to scoreboard (Thanks to Rob Baker, Tim Dunkelberger and Cub Scout Pack 3158 Echo Hills Elementary!)
- Field maintenance and fertilization donated by Highpoint Lawn Service and the Booster Club
